Yu Sauna

八湯御桑拿 · Macau Peninsula · #1 in our ranking

Macau's newest sauna house — hinoki dry rooms, a lantern-lit lattice corridor and a hot-pool hall on the 4th floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel, opened 26 August 2026.

Our verdict · Best for First-look visitors who want the newest venue in town, especially anyone staying around NAPE and the Fisherman's Wharf.

Yu Sauna (八湯御桑拿) is the venue this guide has been waiting for all summer: a genuinely new sauna house on the Macau peninsula, on the 4th floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel in NAPE, a few minutes from the Outer Harbour ferry terminal and walkable from the Fisherman's Wharf hotels. It opened on 26 August 2026 with a fit-out that reads as Japanese first — hinoki-panelled dry saunas, a glass steam cube, blond timber benches — and Chinese second, with a red-lantern lattice corridor and a moon-gate hot-pool hall that is the single best-looking wet area to open in Macau this year.

The mechanics are conventional and that is a compliment. The board is published: sauna-only entry at MOP 1,199 (charged from the moment you change), a Shanghai-style massage at MOP 2,699, then packages from MOP 3,399 up to a Japanese-theme package at MOP 7,499, with a second-session add-on running MOP 1,299–3,900 depending on the line. A 10% service charge lands on everything, so do the sum before you commit. Treatment rooms are private and each has its own bathtub — the session, the soak and the rinse all happen behind one door.

What you give up is the reassurance of a track record. The venue is weeks old, the multinational roster is on shift from 1 PM to 6 AM inside a 24-hour operation, and overnight rest is a paid private room or the free lounge area. Judged on hardware, location and pricing honesty, though, this is the strongest new opening of 2026, and it takes the top of our ranking on those terms. Book through us and the entry fee is waived, the private car is free, and two complimentary add-on services come with the night.

  • Published price board from MOP 1,199 — no guessing at the door

  • •Overnight rest is a paid private room or the free lounge area — confirm the details at booking

How your night flows

1

Book ahead

Message us on WhatsApp with your group size, arrival time and the package band you have in mind. Yu Sauna only opened on 26 August 2026, so an advance booking gets you the smoothest room and roster arrangement — plus the waived entry fee and two free add-on services.

2

Arrive at the New Orient Landmark Hotel

Yu Sauna is on the 4th floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel at 555 Avenida da Amizade, NAPE. It is a short taxi from the Outer Harbour ferry terminal, the Border Gate or the HZM bridge port, or ask us for the free private car. Give your booking name and you'll be walked in.

3

Soak and steam

Change, then head for the wet area: hinoki dry saunas, the glass steam room and the moon-gate hot-pool hall. Note that the MOP 1,199 sauna-only minimum is charged from the moment you change into the house clothes.

4

Rest in the dining lounge

Between the baths and the treatment there is a dining and rest lounge with wood-slat ceilings and quiet tables — dining details are confirmed when you book. It is also where you get your bearings before choosing.

5

Meet the roster

The multinational lineup is on shift from 1 PM to 6 AM. The floor manager introduces therapists in person; once you have chosen, the package band is confirmed on the spot — entry MOP 3,399–3,899, popular MOP 4,099–6,499, premium MOP 6,099–6,499, or the Japanese-theme package at MOP 7,499.

6

Your private room

Every treatment room is private and has its own bathtub, so the whole session stays behind one door. A second session (雙鐘) runs MOP 1,299–3,900 depending on the line, and a 10% service charge applies to everything. Prices follow the venue's current menu and may vary by item, duration and time slot. Ask us for the latest quote when booking.

7

Stay or ride home

The venue runs 24 hours; overnight rest is a paid private room or the free lounge area. When you're done, one message brings the free private car (never shared) back for you — hotel, airport or ferry, anywhere in Macau.

🎁

Don't forget — your VIP Extras from us

Booking through us gets you 2 complimentary VIP Extras at this venue — served by professional therapists. Pick from Back Rubbing, thigh massage, head massage, reflexology, manicure, pedicure, hand massage, and ear cleaning. Tell us your pick when you book.

Start where the regulars will: the lattice-walled hot-pool hall with its moon gate — churning hot water, warm light and the best-looking wet area to open in Macau this year.

Tiered hinoki benches, hidden light strips and a window onto the blue-lit wet area next door — step out of the dry heat and straight into the pools.

A glass cube of pale timber wrapped in violet light — the most modern corner of the house, and the one everyone photographs first.

The second dry sauna runs lighter: three tiers of blond timber, soft strip lighting and enough room that nobody is sitting in your heat.

Wine-red walls, a carved lattice screen and your own bathtub behind it — the whole session, soak and rinse stay behind one door.

A string of red lanterns along the lattice-windowed corridor leads to the treatment rooms — the lights drop and your pace does too.

Moving-head lights over red tiered seating facing the lattice wall — the reception and introduction area, where the evening gets organised.

Red lanterns, a bird-and-flower mural and a white lattice counter — give your booking name here and someone walks you in.

White loungers and café tables under the wood-slat ceiling, with the moon gate to the hot-pool hall a few steps away.

Wine-red panelling, a blue cove in the ceiling and a round arch onto the serving counter — a quiet dining and rest room before the treatment.

The other end of the dining lounge: slatted timber walls and well-spaced solid-wood tables, so nobody is eating at your elbow.

Grey-stone shower bays under a timber ceiling, with the towel and amenity shelves just inside — spacious enough that peak hours do not mean a queue.

Stone shower cubicles next to the changing-room door with its gold key-pattern trim — once you have changed, the sauna-only minimum is on the clock.
